Lisa Mattaway is an Associate Attorney at the Offices of Joseph H. Nivin, P.C. Her primary focus is Family Law and Guardianship matters. She has over 34 years of experience as a Prosecutor. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Joseph H. Nivin, she served as the Senior Trial Assistant District Attorney in both the Bronx County District Attorney's Office, as well as in the Nassau County District Attorney's Office. She is also a former Director of Trials and Litigation for the New York City Department of Correction.

Lisa is a member of both the New York and New Jersey Bar since 1988, as well as both the Eastern and Southern Federal Districts of New York. She is also admitted to the United States Supreme Court. In addition, Lisa is a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Brandeis Association of Yashar, the Females Judges and Lawyers Division of Hadassah. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Lisa is also designated a Lawyer of Distinction for 2024 and is recognized for excellence in the practice of law.
